Cincinnati Men's Chorus Keeps you "Safe and Warm"

CMCsafeandwarm.jpgThe Cincinnati Men’s Chorus has a new recording with 16 selections to warm your days and nights before the holiday.

Safe and Warm, Together for the Holidays is the latest CD from the 50-voice chorus of gay and gay-supportive men. "This is our best CD ever – it's just like being in the concert hall with us!" said Dr. Patrick O. Coyle, the chorus’ artistic director.

"Safe and Warm captures the fun and community of CMC's live performances," continued Coyle, now in his 13th year leading the chorus. "Our holiday concerts (and this recording) include fresh new arrangements of old favorites like ‘Deck the Halls,’ alongside the comic ‘Christmas Angles’ and the powerful anthem ‘Not in Our Town.’"

The new recording is being released at an invitation-only event on Nov. 14. The public can pre-purchase copies before then at the chorus’ Web site, www.cincinnatimenschorus.org, for $15 or 2 for $25.

Please welcome Barry and Darren as Rainbow Cincinnati's latest contributors. And, I'd like to thank my other contributors who have helped keep the site going during my little? medical (circulatory) problem. It's been a long slog but things are finally looking up.

Rene Micheo has again posted great Pride photos for this year.
