Cincy Faith Leaders Stands for Equality Luncheon Friday Nov 19, 2010 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Please join a gathering of pro-equality clergy from across Southwest Ohio for a great lunch and a good time of fellowship. All proceeds will go to support the work of Equality Ohio as it seeks to make Ohio "a place where everyone feels at home." You'll hear from Ohio Representatives Denise Driehaus who voted for the Equal Housing and Employment Act (EHEA, House Bill 176) when it passed the Ohio House of Representatives with bipartisan support in September of 2009. EHEA would protect Ohioans from discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in matters of employment, housing and public accommodations. You'll also hear from Sue Doerfer, Equality Ohio's Executive Director, as to where we are in Ohio when it comes to LGBT rights and how Ohio clergy can be a part of helping change hearts and minds as we move forward in the pro-equality movement.
