Design student Shawnteè Stallworth, Cincinnati native, is the winner of the '09 Pride logo contest hosted by sponsor, the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Greater Cincinnati. Shawnteè attends Cincinnati State Technical and Community College for web and graphic design. A $250 Macy's gift certificate was to her presented to her at the Pride '09 committee meeting held Tuesday night, March 10th at New Spirit MCC. She tells us she was interested in the arts from fine art to media art even in high school where she enjoyed drawing, painting, and writing. “The funny thing is I originally enrolled as a web design major and added graphic design after having taken graphic design courses. I have been associated with SEO work for a long time now.I still think of my self as an artist of sorts. A good web design site should look nice, it should be artistic.
