Margaret Cho to Speak at Saturday's Event

Here's hoping for a little "Media Firestorm" this Saturday, November 15.

From QueerCincinnati.com:
"Since our last update, Margaret Cho has agreed to speak at the event before her show that evening at the Taft Theatre; her inclusion has created great excitement about the demonstration, and we have been receiving nearly double the inquiries about the protest since she agreed."

From Ms. Cho's blog:
"I’m gonna be at this rally at City Hall, premiering my “Protest Prop 8″ song, playing guitar and everything, so please come down! It’s gonna be awesome."

MargaretChoYou may remember when The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) "uninvited" Margaret Cho from headlining “Unity 2004,” a gay and lesbian event being produced in Boston on the first day of the Democratic National Convention. HRC cited fear of a media firestorm if Ms. Cho performed.

At the time, Rainbow Cincinnati sent an updated HRC bumper sticker (shown here) to her Manager for use on Ms. Cho's car, truck, Segway?
