Cincinnati Pride Marshals June 15, 2008 Five individuals will lead the GLBT parade from Burnet Woods in Clifton to Hoffner Park in Northside on June 15, 2008. Selected were: Rev. Paula Jackson (Church of Our Saviour), Phebe Beiser and Vic Ramstetter (Ohio Lesbian Archives), Worley Rodehaver (publisher) and Dr. Larry Wolf (publisher/activist). Debbie Tripp Payne, long known for her work in the HIV/AIDS area was also selected. Due to her move to Florida and the anticipated birth of a grandchild at the time of event, she will not be able to attend. Dr. Ronn Rucker and Marian Weage, the 2007 marshals, will also be on hand to honor the 2008 marshals. In recently reported news, Oklahoma Representative Sally Kern spoke out against homosexuals, claiming that they are "worse than terrorists" and accusing homosexuals of engaging in indoctrinating behaviors that could destroy the nation. She is currently a representative in Oklahoma.
